Who the f*nk are we?
Das Gruve are five flawlessly funky friends from Cheltenham, taking your favourite pop classics and reimagining them in ways you won’t expect.
Between us, we’ve played thousands of gigs across weddings, festivals, corporate, and theatre. But we started Das Gruve because we wanted something more: a band that played exactly what we love, how we love to play it - with energy, freedom, and lots of smiles.
Fancy hearing Adele in the style of Chic? Or Maroon 5 with a Latin twist? That’s what we do - fun, bespoke arrangements of songs everyone knows, but no one expects.

Das Gruve isn’t a rotating roster of strangers - it's five lifelong friends who’ve been gigging together for over a decade.
We’re a real band with great chemistry. We really love each other actually, most of the time. Every performance is packed with energy and playfulness, along with a deep musical connection you can’t fake.
From our first rehearsal to the last dance of your event, you’re getting the same five musicians who’ve played together for years. No substitutes, no surprises. We’ll even write a bespoke arrangement of your favourite song for your event.

Pete
A founding member of the legendary party band Thrill Collins, Pete brings powerhouse vocals, magnetic stage presence, and the kind of crowd energy that turns polite head-bobbing into full-body boogie. His range is ridiculous, his vibe is infectious.
Tomasz
Our bass master and stank-face specialist. Tomasz brings the thunder with big tone, big energy, and big, occasionally-illegal bass faces. He’s been known to cause spontaneous head-nodding.
OLI
The quiet wizard. Oli’s guitar work glides from silky rhythm to face-melting solos without breaking a sweat. He won’t say much, but by the end of the night, he’ll probably be your favourite.
JACK G
Jack handles the keys. A lover of all things groove-based, he helps shape the arrangements with the rest of the crew. Always chasing sounds that make people move (and maybe laugh a bit too). Will one day be brave enough to do backing vocals.
JACK Q
The happiest drummer on the planet. Jack’s got impeccable timing, gut-busting chops, and a smile that’s as unshakable as his groove. He keeps Das Gruve tighter than… we’ll let you pick the metaphor!
